T.C. Young is a singer/songwriter based in Washington D.C. . The son of a diplomat, his upbringing was littered with the experiences of boundless cultures, diverse landscapes, and an ever looming question of what home really is. Young’s music is defined by the transience of his life, his music seeks to create some order out of chaos, blending precocious meditations on love and loss with the carefree attitude of a kid who feels more comfortable sleeping in a van than a bed. Formerly the singer and primary songwriter for local indie-rock stalwarts The Neon Rush, Young has established a new delicacy as a solo artist, combining the energy and excitability of his many roots, with the intimacy of folk music and storytelling.
T.C. Young is on radio rotation with the tracks: “Weekend” and “Needs”
