Kéwork – “Flying”

Named after the Armenian freedom fighter Kevork Chavush, Kéwork seeks to lead a musical uprising of his own. With more than a decade of private piano lessons and an E-Music Bachelor’s degree from the Conservatorium Inholland Haarlem under the belt, he combines synthesizers with his own vocals and lyrics to create unique sounds and resonating messages. The goal? Inspiring people to do what they love.

‘Flying’ has been released on the 10th of January. It tells the story of a young, ordinary man. Determined for his love interest to take a chance on him, he offers her a Persian carpet to fly into space together. Real brass have been recorded for this production.

Previous featuring of Kéwork on KASPER – ‘Do It Like This’ has been played on Dutch radio almost daily for 3 years consecutively and has amassed over 300,000+ streams on Spotify. ‘Flying’ was added to the New Music Friday NL playlist in the first week, a great start for the debut. In the meanwhile Kéwork has been writing for his publishers Roc-A-Ville / GL Music and other artists.
