A singer and songwriter of uncommon resonance, Carwyn Henigan was born in 1971 in Invercargill, New Zealand, growing up in a Southern Musical family, the initial residue of which has been a lifelong influence on his musical endeavors. Carwyn took up the drums at age 15, and by 16 he was performing in local bars as a backing musician with various covers bands.
After a dozen or so years of this, he put down his drum sticks, and picked up the guitar. He began writing songs and demo recording. Now in 2013 he is completing an ambitious Rock and Pop flavoured album due to be released later this year. Carwyn is aiming for an international radio audience and fan-base, which is now steadily growing.
Carwyn delivers enough heartbreak to drive you to the edge of the cliff, and just enough hope to keep you from jumping. Carwyn Henigan is on Jamsphere with the singles “Feather Of Peace” and “Flying High”
