Young star Dannisha, who gained fame with the daring video Ain’t That Serious, continues to take unusual steps for our showbiz and society. The singer decided to implement a new mechanism for raising funds for the specific needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has already collected 100,000 hryvnias for the needs of the military. Dannisha thought: how many people would want to help the guys on the front lines, even if they don’t have to give their own money?
From this thought emerged a new concept of drawing attention to the need for systematic support for individual soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as entire brigades. Specifically, the singer provides systematic support to the 3rd OSHBr brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the second year of full-scale war, the size of donations has significantly decreased, and attracting attention and funds for our military and charitable organizations has become extremely difficult. Therefore, Dannisha decided to take a risk and try a new concept of fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What does it involve?
Anyone who saves (does a PRE-save) Dannisha’s new track ensures a donation of 40 hryvnias for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If a user does a PRE-save of the track Kiss from October 13 to November 3, the singer monetizes each saved copy for 40 hryvnias, which will be donated to our soldiers on the front lines.
“Of course, I could have just donated a large sum of money and turned it into a publicity stunt, like many others… I systematically help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and communicate with the guys from the 3rd OSHBr brigade, and I’m friends with many. I know about the problems of declining support for the military, and I understand people: many have no money, many are tired, others are fed up with reading about corruption. But help is needed, and to draw attention to this issue, we need to use new methods,” Dannisha explains.
“And then I thought: What if I conduct such a campaign? How much attention to the collection for the 3rd OSHBr will I attract among people if they don’t have to donate their own money? This is a social campaign through which we also measure the real sentiments in our society,” Dannisha explains the sequence of her thoughts. Almost a hundred PRE-saves were collected, and the singer made an additional contribution, bringing the total to 100,000 hryvnias.
“This is a very cool result, considering that no one before me practiced pre-saves, so it’s not familiar or understandable to people. Despite the difficult mechanics, people still joined in to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
