The music project offers a total of eleven tracks and each of them is strangely captivating for all. Though the musical duo mainly works with different elements of electronica, there is a distinctively different flavor that makes their musical creation stand out among all. The album ‘STRSS’ was released on the last day of 2023, paving a smooth way ahead on their musical journey. The musical duo has been working for the last 2.5 years to come up with musical creations that set a benchmark in the music scene, and they have finally made it possible.
The album starts with ‘Change’ which can quickly take listeners to a different unworldly realm featuring tasty beats of electronica reminiscing the work of The Chemical Brothers. Next in order is the title track ‘Stress’. It offers a more moody atmosphere and introduces the more mature audience of the ills and aches of life in the modern world: “This is the kind of stress that gives you cancer”
The album ‘STRSS’ keeps evolving with multiple twists and turns which sounds immersive and captivating at the same time. Worth mentioning are ‘Promise’ with its enticing drum and bass loops in 7/4 and ‘Sansa Kroma’ which adds an African flavor into the mix before bursting into a captivating EDM track in the form of ‘Too Fast’. It is obvious to genre connoisseurs that ‘Justice’ pay homage to the Electronic act by the same name.
STRSS was formed by well-known rock and metal drummer Nir Nakav (Salem, Tomorrow’s Rain, Höst, Infected Mushroom) and synth Meister Itay Keren who can create magic with their unparalleled skills and the latest album is the biggest example of that.
