Mason Summit is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, & multi-instrumentalist whose music contains elements of folk, power-pop, jazz, country, & psychedelic rock. Born & raised in Los Angeles, Mason has performed up & down the California coast & released several self-produced albums of original material. His songs combine introspective, darkly humorous lyrics with eclectic production & inventive arrangements, exploring themes of grief, mental illness, injustice & mortality.
In May 2020, Mason graduated Magna Cum Laude from the USC Thornton School of Music, releasing his latest album, Negative Space, the following month. In addition to his solo work, he has produced and/or recorded with peers including Irene Greene, Jensen McRae, Jaw Talk, Ali Angel, & Cameron Scott Roberts. Mason & his fiancée, Irene Greene, formed The Prickly Pair in 2021 & have released several angsty Americana singles since.
Mason Summit is currently on Jamsphere Radio rotation with the track, “Bystander” – a protest song about societal complicity and complacency in the face of global injustice.
