Born in Sassuolo, Italy (1980), Matteo Masi began his musical journey at the age of 14 with the English-speaking band STONEHENGE. After various experiences in cover bands, he joined Ex-Nova (Italian Rock), creating original songs in Italian. Matteo’s versatility is evident in his participation in the bands COUNTRY RIDE (country music) and OVER BORDERLINE (alternative rock), where he released the EP “Chapter Zero,” including a notable cover of Madonna’s “FROZEN” which was played on “Radio 105.”
Embracing a solo career, Matteo released “THINK” and honed his skills in Bristol (UK) with the band AVALANCHE, performing in various pubs. Returning to Italy in 2018, he joined ECHOES IN THE MIRROR, based in Vicenza, releasing “Here Comes The Storm.” Currently based in Verona, he continues his solo endeavors with a recent single like “What If” (in collaboration with GIULIANO NICOLIS) and is working on upcoming projects, blending proven ideas and new inspirations.
