WHEN.in.MAINE singles marked as “Late Night in Maine” differ from regular hard rock, new metal and post-grunge songs. They usually fall under new wave, cold wave or synthwave criteria. It’s the very case with “C Song” which is on the rock and new wave side. This time the song features Wojciech on English vocals and Annerup on guest vocals in Danish. There’s also first ever appearance of Sławek Papis on guitar with Snakedoctors or WHEN.in.MAINE there. So we have Wojciech and Sławek play guitars. Mixing and mastering was done by Sławek Papis at Case Studio in Poland. The video for the single features the guest appearance by Kiki from Sweden and footage from both Denmark, Sweden and Poland.

“Proved Me Wrong (Rake Version)” is the fifth single released since late September this year. This is an alternative version of the song with the same title. This time produced by Chris Rakestraw, a producer who is responsible for the last two Megadeth albums and previously worked, among others, with Deftones and Danzig. He previously collaborated with Snakedoctors on the song “Why Don’t”, which was featured on last album. The mastering was done by Sławek Papis at the Case Studio in Poland. Although it differs significantly from the previous version – here too we have a specific combination of the piano in the intro and ending to the heavy and dark guitar sounds in the main part of the song. By the beginning of January WHEN.in.MAINE band is planning to release another four singles and then around March – their first album.

About WHEN.in.MAINE: WHEN.in.MAINE is a music project created by two members of disbanded now Polish band Snakedoctors. The band has finished work on its first album and is already working on the next one. Songs for the album were recorded with Darryll Nutt, US based drummer who worked with members of famous bands and famous artists (including AC/DC and Goo Goo Dolls). As was the case with Snakedoctors, famous guests took part in the production of the album, including musicians and producer. These included, among others: Chris Rakestraw, who recorded the last two Megadeth albums, Marshall Gallagher, producer and leader of the band Teenage Wrist, one of the members of the band Catch Your Breath, and Dave Dominguez, who worked previously with Papa Roach, Staind and Guns’N’Roses. WHEN.in.MAINE play hard rock with a slight touch of new metal. This direction was already defined by the last Snakedoctors album (“Waiting”). The band focuses primarily on the melodic aspects of songs. The album will be released in early 2024 on Case Studio label.
