“Stole My Memories” is the first single by WHEN.in.MAINE a band created by Wojciech, guitarist and vocalist of now disbanded Snakedoctors, and Jerry, bassist of that band. This is a song about how through denial and lies you can lose not only memories but also trust.
The mixing and mastering was done by Dawid Gorgolewski from the Osso Studio in Poland. The band’s first album, which is to be released in a few months, will also include a version of this song done by Dave Dominguez, who previously worked with, among others, with Papa Roach, Staind, Weezer and Guns N Roses. The upcoming album will also include electronic versions of this song. The video for the single was shot in locations in Gdansk, Gdynia and Klodzko in Poland as well as in Caracas in Venezuela.
About WHEN.in.MAINE: WHEN.in.MAINE is a new music project created by two members of the now disbanded Polish band Snakedoctors. The band is currently finishing work on their first album. As it was with Snakedoctors among guests and producers there will be many famous people involved. They play hard rock with a slight touch of new metal. This direction was slowly defined by the last Snakedoctors album (“Waiting”). The author of songs, Wojciech, focuses primarily on the melodic nature of the songs.
The material for the album is recorded with Darryll Nutt, an American drummer who has worked with members of many bands and artists (including members of AC/DC and Goo Goo Dolls). First live shows will arrive in January next year. In Poland at live performances they will be joined on drums by their good friend – Sławek Papis.
