It makes sense that rock band Yeah, Sure is based out of Florida. ‘The sunshine state’ is associated with everything from beachy paradise to bath salt-ingesting face-eaters, palm trees and gators to sweat-drenched tourists chomping on roided-out turkey legs. “That contrast of something pretty messed up stuff going on under the surface is an oddly good description of the band’s sound,” says vocalist Alex Knight.
Yeah, Sure blends the energy of melodic influence of 90s alt/grunge with a dissonant take on 60s pop/psychedelic rock-inspired harmonies.
